John M. Brabham, Jr. has over 20 years experience in the Real Estate brokerage business and has been Broker-in-Charge of Prudential John M. Brabham Real Estate for more than 16 years. John was president of the Sumter Board of REALTORS in 1993 and has served on several statewide committees for the S.C. Association of REALTORS. He has been active in real estate brokerage, development, and new construction throughout his real estate career.

John Brabham has also been very active in the community. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Wilson Hall School and Toumey Regional Medical Center. He serves on the local advisory board of BB&T Corporation as well as the Central Carolina Community Foundation. He is a member of the Mid-Carolina Commission for Higher Education as appointed by Governor Mark Sanford. After graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration and finance and a brief stay at Hilton Head Island, Phil Richardson returned to his home town of Sumter in 1975 to start his own landscaping and irrigation business (Richardson Landscaping and Nursery). He has been an active member of The Society of High Hills, The Sertoma Club, and the SC Nurseryman’s Association.

In 2005, Phil found time to pursue a long-time interest in real estate and to put his past knowledge of Sumter County, land usage, construction, and landscaping to further use. Harwood Weatherly, Jr.   

Harwood Weatherly, Jr was born and raised in Sumter like most of his family members. He graduated Clemson University in 2000 and Sumter High School in 1996. Harwood earned a B.S. Degree in Agricultural Economics with emphasis in Real Estate Investments. While at Clemson, his interest and understanding of Real Estate became a passion and a career path. He earned his SC Appraiser’s license and Sales license in 1998 while in college. He upgraded to Certified Residential and became a Broker in 2002. Since then, Harwood worked full time appraising property in Greenville and Clemson.

After moving back to Sumter 2006, Harwood joined Prudential to broker Commercial Real Estate in Sumter and surrounding areas. He is currently upgrading his Appraiser license to Certified General, which is the highest designation in SC. He also became a CCIM Candidate (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in 2006, which is the most prestigious Commercial Real Estate designation in America with limited membership.
